What We Believe

We believe the Bible is God's written word, inspired by the Holy Spirit, infallible, alive, and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice. Jesus is God in the flesh, and the Bible is God's love story of redeeming mankind through His Son. The Bible provides the foundation for doctrine, and we are open-handed with issues not explicitly clear in the Bible.

We believe our worship is a heartfelt expression of our gratitude for all that God has done in our lives. We believe that every action we take, every word we speak, and every thought we have is an act of worship, and therefore, our entire lives are to be lived for Him.

We believe that every endeavor ought to be grounded in prayer, both in its inception and its continuation. Prayer is not only communication with God, it is also part of our communion with God as He invites us into a loving relationship with Him. We believe that by seeking God in prayer, He will unveil to us the strategies, ideas, and plans necessary to fulfill our mission in the church, in the community, in the city, and in the world, all for the glory of His name.

We believe the Church is a unified community of individuals who are uniquely created in the image of God. We embrace our differences and we are united in heart, mind, spirit, purpose, and vision. Our team is motivated by a shared purpose, and we believe that we are most powerful and effective for the Kingdom when we work together as one. We aspire for our community to cultivate deep lifelong relationships that honor God's unique purpose for our lives and our church. Therefore, we are called to pray for each other, support one another in difficult times, confess our sins, and love one another.

At the heart of our mission is the call to make disciples. We believe that growth is essential for survival, and this applies not only to individuals but also to our corporate body. We recognize that the strength of our community is directly linked to the strength of each individual member. Therefore, we are committed to fostering an environment that encourages personal growth and development. Our goal is to see every person in our community reach a place of maturity in their Christian walk, where they are equipped with the wisdom and knowledge of Christ. We believe that by investing in the growth of our members, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant community.

We believe that as sinful human beings, our integrity is flawed. Still we believe that God has called us to be people of excellence, uprightness, and wholeness. We can partake of His divine nature and character by the blood of Jesus and through abiding in Him. Our goal is not to strive for unattainable perfection, but rather to pursue and endeavor to reflect the integrity of Christ in all that we do. We desire to be a community that displays love, honesty, kindness, faithfulness, and self-control.

We believe that God's ultimate act of generosity was demonstrated through the sacrifice of Jesus. Therefore, we strive to exhibit generosity in all aspects of our lives, intentionally giving our time, treasure, and talent to enrich the lives of those around us. By allowing God to work through us, we not only receive what we need, but also aim to provide for the needs of others. Our desire is to be a church where people are overwhelmed by the Christian generosity that we share through all that God has given us.

As a community, we strive to follow in Jesus' footsteps and embody his teachings of love and compassion. We believe that by serving others we can make a tangible difference in our city and bring hope and healing to those who need it most. Our goal is to create a ripple effect of kindness and generosity that will inspire others to join us in our mission to to be a community of worshipers who are fully-devoted to loving God and serving others. We are committed to serving with joy, humility, grace, and a deep sense of purpose, knowing that every act of service is an opportunity to reflect God's love to the world.

As a church, we are committed to spreading the life-giving message of Jesus wherever we go. We believe that wherever we find ourselves, that is our pulpit, and we aim to lovingly demonstrate Jesus’ compassion and grace for others. Our goal is to be a light in the world, engaging with culture through love and truth. We are dedicated to sharing the gospel in the context of our daily lives, whether we are at work, at home, or at play. We are a church that boldly and freely proclaims the message of Jesus, and we are strengthened by the personal stories of transformation that we witness through testimonies.
